Duane Disterhoft of Marengo, Iowa brought his son, Cale, along for his goat hunt. They and their guide, Gary Keen, spotted the goats, went up the hill and made a successful stalk – all on the first day of the hunt. The next day, along with the camp cook, they all watched the entire stalk and kill of Barbara Baldauf’s goat. Right from base camp!
