Butch Zens brought his wife, Wendy, with him on this moose hunt. Butch and I had an enjoyable time spotting moose and were real pleased to find this one while we were walking back to the boat.
Butch dropped it less than 400 yards from the lake shore. This moose may not look big, but this man is 6’5” tall!! Butch kept teasing Wendy by telling her is was “Oh, 52”, 53” when it really measured out to 67 inches wide. Quite a trophy to take back home to New Mexico.
